The Effect of Project Communications Management on Project Time Performance

The construction industry plays a significant role in the country, while project delays cause various problems. Regarding that, communication is very influential on performance, especially time performance. This study aims to identify factors that affect communications, effect of communications management and analyze strategies for improving calculation Relative Importance Index was carried out determine communications. Meanwhile, simple linear regression analysis find magnitude strategy obtained by mapping stakeholders using power/interest grid method. data collected based observations results questionnaires filled 38 respondents, consisting owner, supervisor consultant, contractor design-build used as case study. showed top 10 influencing with highest value. result has positive performance coefficient determination value 69.6%. suggested optimize application main tailored each stakeholder.
